With Alabama playing in the College Football Playoff on New Years Eve. 2016 rolled in with my Tide going to have a chance to play for another National Championship. Not only did we kick off the New Year with high hopes for Bama but all of us here in Widemanville were overjoyed having just found out that Sparrow was going to be a big brother. 2016 was going to be a great one. After the craziness of 2015 it was great to have a few days off to enjoy our family and some holiday downtime. I got to watch my Crimson Tide win it's 16th College Football National Championship in Oklahoma while consulting and helping Northstar Pryor. Each month I get to spend a week helping my longtime friend Pastor Roy Evans and his family. God is doing some great things at Northstar to reach Northeast Oklahoma and it's a huge blessings to be able to be a part. Our entire family attended the Children's Pastor Conference put on by the International Network of Children's Ministries this years conference was very special because while we were there Sparrow accepted Christ as his Lord and Savior. I told you 2016 was going to be a great one. I ended the month out in Southern California speaking at the Power Up Conference. Whitney got to go with me to help me as well as shop, drink some great coffee, and also to participate in another special bucket list adventure of touring the Fender Guitar Factory. What a month, what a year!
