April Was A Family Month For Us

This month started off with Julie joining me in Oklahoma. I had no idea how much we would enjoy our time in our cabin retreat. It's so relaxing. We are so thankful for the time we get to spend watching deer, raccoons, ducks, cows, and turkeys. I had the fewest trips of any month of the year this month. Julie was able to be with me for every event and activity. Being home more, I got to attend all of Sparrow's soccer games. (Be sure and check out the pictures of him playing with his new soccer team in the portfolio section) I started a new Infuse Coaching group last month so their first retreat was this month. This group was one of the best I've ever had. We love hosting these retreats. Each one is different because each group is different. This month Julie and I got to attend a reunion of the college group at my home church in Birmingham. I got to play guitar during the worship and got to thank my very first Youth Pastor for all he did for me when I was a new Christ Follower. I would not be the man I am today with out Don Campbell's influence in my life. April is also the month of the Orange Conference in Atlanta. This is by far my favorite event that I get to speak at each year. This year I got to kick off a new company that I  helped start under the Orange umbrella to help churches find and hire the best staff to influence the next generation. It's called NextGen Staff Solutions. Be sure and check it out here and please let me know if we can serve your church with our Job Board or a custom search. I ended the month by flying to Dallas to join by Tulsa buddies for the Dallas International Guitar Festival. There's nothing like a weekend of laughing, guitar playing, good food and great friends to end a great month of being with my entire family all month long.
