February has turned into one of my favorite months of the year. I became a Grandfather in the month of February and every year my February seems like it’s packed full of wonderful celebrations. After another quick trip back to Atlanta on Super Bowl Weekend, Julie, Whitney, Yancy, Rhythm, and I attended our church’s third birthday celebration at the Ryman Auditorium. In September of last year Julie and I started attending The Belonging Co, an amazing church in Nashville. Whitney started attending shortly after it began. We love our church, the worship is the best. During the Birthday Celebration at the Ryman our worship team recorded a live worship album. It is so good! It has 17 songs that came out of our house check it out at www.thebelonging.co. It was such a special night I love going to concerts at the Ryman but there was just something special about having church at the “Mother Church”. After another ministry trip to Oklahoma it was time to celebrate Sparrow. I can’t believe he is 6 years old. He’s such a fun, smart and creative little guy. He’s a good big brother and has such a tender heart toward the Lord. Yancy and Cory are such wonderful parents. I always knew I’d love being a grandpa but no body ever told me how wonderful it was to watch your kids be parents and train up Godly kids. This year Sparrow had a Lego Batman party and had us all dress up and act like he was Bruce Wayne, the man of the year! We also got to celebrate Sparrow at our annual family Preds game, another one of our February traditions.
