September began with Julie and I back out in Oklahoma at the cabin. Fall is one of my favorite times of the year because Fall also means the start of football. Alabama got off to a great start I think I was in a different state every week they played. As soon as we returned from Oklahoma, my sister brought my Mom to Tennessee to meet her third Great-grandson. It was a wonderful weekend of celebrating family. Getting to watch an Alabama game with my family is a sight to behold. I'm sure my neighbors were wondering what was going on. September also marked the start of the Orange Tour. It started for me in Minneapolis, Seattle, then a site visit in Portland, then another tour stop in Southern California and this run ended in Richmond all in one month. Along the way I was able to do some training at other churches, connect with other leaders and also I even had time to take in some great coffee and fun shopping. While I was in Portland one highlight was getting to shop at the Nike employee store. It was amazing. Rhythm made history this month by not only going on his first flight but also getting his first stamp in his passport. Yancy returned to work with a concert in Toronto. Rhythm does so good traveling, just like his big brother.
