If there’s anything I’ve learned this year it is that God leads and directs our every step. He knows how to get us to where he wants us. I started the month heading out to Midland/Odesa for a site visit. It had been more than 29 years since I had been there, little did I know this would be the first of three trips in 2017. I met some of the most wonderful folks which let to some awesome opportunities to teach on family and parenting. One of the things I ask the Lord to do is to open more opportunities to teach on family and parenting. A close ministry friend asked me how I started getting these opportunities and asked how was I advertising? I don’t think he was expecting my answer, I prayed and asked the Lord to open the doors for me. Not only has more opportunities opened up but I’m believing for more in 2018. I’ve also started writing a new book to help parents.
June also brought ministry trips to Oklahoma and the first of two trips to Wisconsin. I got to check off two bucket list items at once. While in Milwaukee I got to tour the Harley Davidson Museum as well as tour Lambeau Field. Be sure and checkout my pictures of this special day. Also on this trip I got to spend some time with 2 more infusers and Kidmin friends. I just don’t know why people choose to do ministry alone. God made us to be in community. The truth is we are better together.
The best part of June was spending time with those grand boys. Rhythm loves for us to read him books. Sparrow loves his movie time with G. They both love the outdoors and swinging and playing ball. Julie and I cherish the time we get to spend with them. These little guys sure know how to make everyday special especially Father’s Day.
