Summer Time is crazy here in Widemanville. This by far is Yancy's busiest time. Camps, VBS openings and closings, Family Concerts and Festivals which means it's Julie's busiest time too. For me it really isn't that crazy since there are no summer time conferences. I found myself either at home in Tennessee or at my other home in Oklahoma in June, July, and August. I had one consulting trip in June in St Louis, one in July in Loxly Alabama, and one in Austin in August. I got to take pictures 4th of July at the Nashville Hot Chicken Festival which was fun even in the rain. Julie and I got to go see Ricky Skaggs at one of the Bluegrass Nights at the Ryman again this year. Nashville was the home of the Summer NAMM show and I got to once again checkout the latest music products that were available. I got to checkout some pedals, amps and guitars first hand. I also put the finishing touches on my 16th book Tweetable Leadership. Another highlight of the summer was our friend Funny Man Dan from Hillsong Church in Sidney, Australia came to Nashville to spend time with us and take in the sights and sounds of Nashvegas. We hit the Country Music Hall of Fame, the batting cages and even the Uncle Dave Macon Bluegrass Festival. Yancy had here 35th birthday in July, Whitney turned 31 in August. They each had a day of fun where we got to celebrate them. We ended the summer with another Infuse Retreat. It's hard to believe this was my 35 retreat since starting coaching other leaders. I think summer of 2015 was the best Summer ever!
