The story of this November started last November. I grew out my beard for no shave November and during the month it was suggested to me to grow a yeard. I had to look it up and found out it was a beard for a year. One article I read called it "A manly right of passage" so I made it a goal. Whitney found me some beard products and I learned about beard oils, beard baum, the difference in regular brushed and boar hair brushes. I can't deny that the longer it got the more I looked like Santa. Julie and the girls where glad when I cut it back to a number 4 guard. Sparrow said he liked "G's" beard big. "G" did too. We got to spend a lot of family time together this month Julie and I went down to Birmingham to watch the Tide beat LSU. (Roll Tide) We also got to go see Julie's family in Mississippi. Whitney's big news was after 10 years of working for Mac Cosmetics she left the world of retail to start her own freelance makeup business. Check her out at Wmakeup.com. She's also working for Yancy serving as Yancy's assistant. Since she didn't have to work "Black Friday" Whitney got to go with us to Mississippi for Thanksgiving. It was a wonderful time for all. Yancy, Cory and Sparrow were in Oklahoma and were the only thing missing from making this a perfect holiday.November also brought the end of the Orange Tour here in Nashville. The Nashville Music Instrument Expo, and Julie and I celebrated our 37th Anniversary. Over the last year and a half we're been building a cabin in Oklahoma and this month we got to move in just in time to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Julie has been busy making the cabin a second home. It's such a wonderful blessing and so relaxing. The Crimson Tide closed out the month beating auburn again to win the west and a trip to the SEC Championship game.
